Corporate Brokers announces Gavin Scattergood as Director of Relationship Management Services (RMS)
ANNAPOLIS, MD, March 17, 2011 — Corporate Brokers, LLC (www.corporatebrokers.com) has created a new business unit - Relationship Management Services (RMS) – to focus on servicing the needs of clients that are currently using a Vendor Management System (VMS). Long-time Corporate Brokers Senior Account Executive, Gavin Scattergood, has been promoted to head the business unit as Director.
VMS is an Internet-enabled, web-based application that allows companies to easily distribute and manage their job requirements during the procurement of staffing services. Although specific VMS functions vary by a company’s needs, typical features include job order distribution, consolidated billing, and enhanced reporting capabilities. Until recently, VMS has mainly been used by large national and multi-national corporations. But smaller companies are recognizing the benefits of the system’s ability to outperform manual procedures and processes to manage contingent labor relationships. As a result, the industry-wide tool is growing in popularity.
Gavin Scattergood, Director of Relationship Management Services, anticipates that the Corporate Brokers RMS team will add another dimension of customer service to basic VMS applications. “Based on our standard staffing delivery model, Corporate Brokers can offer a more extensive and higher-quality level of customer service to our clients while significantly developing career opportunities for our consultants.
