Corporate Brokers to Help Fortune 500 Company Build New Internal Division
ANNAPOLIS, MD, Oct. 2, 2012 – Corporate Brokers, LLC (www.corporatebrokers.com) announced today that it has begun a strategic initiative with one of the world’s leading manufacturers of power tools, mechanical and electronic solutions, and their related components and accessories. The client, a Fortune 500 company, will be expanding its’ workforce to develop a new internal division. This new group will focus on tactics to help the client remain competitive in its’ marketplace.
Corporate Brokers won the bid over one of the client’s nationally approved staffing vendors, and will fill more than 50 positions – mostly electrical and mechanical engineers, supply chain specialists, and marketing associates - in the client’s three major locations on the East Coast. The project began on September 17, 2012 and will run through March 2013. However, Corporate Brokers plans to have all spots filled by January 1, 2013.
In preparation, Corporate Brokers Account Manager, Nick Tanis, and Recruiter, Monica Barnhart, sat down with each of the client’s affected 45 hiring managers to get a detailed picture of the exact qualifications and soft skills needed to make every candidate a successful direct hire. The recruiting team has already scheduled a day of interviews to kick-start the hiring. Nick shares, “This is a very exciting project for Corporate Brokers - to help a client who is in need of our premier service levels and candidate selectivity. We are happy to be viewed as an extension of their organization. To be a consultative partner, not just a vendor, is always our goal at Corporate Brokers. The immediate business is great for us, but solidifying a strong and lasting partnership with this particular client is paramount.”
Monica will also serve as a dedicated Corporate Brokers liaison, and has set up office space at the client site. She will be working onsite four days each week to manage all aspects of the recruiting process. She is acting as a direct extension of the client’s HR team, and has full access and communication as it pertains to this project. Corporate Brokers’ recruiting teams will be assisting with the search and hiring process from their Annapolis location.
